Recycling For Your Oral Care Empties -- Really! Any brand.

Let us start by saying you’re doing great! You’re brushing your teeth twice a day, flossing, using that mouthwash, and keeping your gums and pearly whites in tip-top shape. We love to see it!

What we don’t love to see? Waste. And unfortunately, in the oral healthcare industry, there’s a lot of it. Did you know that one billion toothbrushes are thrown away annually in the United States alone? And what about all those packages of dental floss and tubes of toothpaste? It adds up quickly.

At ELIMS, we want to make a positive impact on your teeth and the planet, so we’ve partnered with TerraCycle to start recycling oral care products!

Here’s how it works:

1. Email us at help@elims.co
2. Tell us what you have (we can take toothpaste tubes and caps, toothbrushes, cartons, ELIMS teeth whitening, and floss containers - all brands accepted!)
3. We’ll send you a free pre-paid shipping label
4. Pack and ship your used oral care products and/or packaging in any box or envelope you already have at home
5. Send it to us - and we’ll take care of the rest!

How easy is that?

When your used products arrive at TerraCycle, they go through a pretty intense and thorough sorting and cleaning process before being sent to their third-party partners to process the materials into usable forms. From there, your recycled donations may be used in outdoor furniture, watering cans, playground surface covers, athletic fields, and more! Much better than clogging up landfill space for the next hundred or so years, right?

So before you toss that toothbrush or carton in the waste bin, reconsider sending it to us and give your discards a chance at a second life!
