THE ELIMS STORY

One day, Belinda was distracting herself from hectic L.A. traffic with a podcast about climate change.
Suddenly, the soundtrack soared and she knew deep in her heart of hearts her destiny was to bring sustainable oral care to the world.

That’s not exactly what happened, but trust us when we say it was pretty close to a scene from a Hollywood romcom because Belinda worked in the medical device industry, married to a dentist (Dr. Casey), and friends with Pradnya, a fellow MBA who worked in manufacturing and is deeply passionate about sustainability.

Sustainable oral care was the obvious win-win-win way to improve the planet and smiles everywhere.
Oral care is also a very prominent plastic waster. Our commitment is to reduce waste produced by all healthcare products, so our line of oral care products (and packaging) is 100%sustainable, without sacrificing function or design.

Belinda Lau

Founder + CEO

Belinda has always been a champion for healthcare, spending over 15 years creating life-saving medical devices. And founding ELIMS has been a social entrepreneur's dream come true, where she can continue to advance human health while innovating on earth-friendly technologies.

Chief Dental Officer

Dr. Casey has spent over 20 years in dentistry specializing in all aspects of dental care including cosmetic, orthodontics, and implant dentistry. Seeing the waste generated by the dental industry on a daily basis, Dr. Casey knew he had to do something about it.

Pradnya Parulekar

Chief Sustainability Officer

Pradnya had a love for the environment at an early age, starting in the 9th grade when she protested against the closing of a local recycling center. Today, she combines her passion for sustainability with her engineering background to push the envelope in the oral care space.
